what are you trying to say? You said "SLP made his car seem really quiet." Then later on you say "SLPs are loud and get noticed." Talk about contradicting yourself.

Thanks for the great responses -- at his point I am leaning toward finishing the system with SLP LM2's. The Borla's are a close second choice. I'll wait for some more feedback.
Just curious -- does anyone have any experience with the Steeda cat back set-up? I see they are about $600 (or $150 more then the SLP).
With Steeda, are we just paying more for their name -- or is it a superior product and therefore more costly?
Thanks,
-- Rich

You probably wont believe it, Steeda being a pretty big name in the mustang game, but Borla makes their exhaust kits... Ive heard the steeda catback is slightly quieter than the Borla one.

Are you considering an uncatted midpipe, cause if so, you will get a bit of rasp, just like you would with 99% of the other catback choices, just a small price you pay for the volume.
As for LM II's, I believe that wmmost (I think that is right) is the only person I've heard say that they have the LM II's, but are'nt 100% satisfied with them. (but that's because he wants Stingers ) But don't mind that, I haven't heard ANYONE say that they don't love their SLP LM II's
Good luck, let us know on the midpipe decision, or if there even was one.
oh yea, Steeda's catback (which is chambered) is made by Borla, costs a hell of a lot of money, and is a bit quieter than Borla's chambered catback, which are all an awful lot more subdued than the Stingers.
