Headlights going on and off.....no apparent cause?
Ok so I have a 96 GT and my headlights will randomly turn off and then re-appear a few seconds later....and then do it countless times more. What is my problem? It doesn't seem to be related to rpm's or a sound system and it doesnt matter whether they are on brights or low beams. They have been replaced with Nokya bulbs, what is going on?oh and it doesnt seem to do it bc of bumps in the road

Bad ground, lose connection, or pinched wiring seems like the more obvious cause. Trace all the wiring back to its source as far as you can...

Its always both headlights at the same time...and When it does this I can grab the brights lever on the left of the steering collum and pull it towards me and get the brights....pushing it to get the brights on does nothing???????? I am so lost

New update in the headlight saga...when I take the passenger side out it no longer goes on and off... and yes I have tried differant bulbs and they all do it. Any other guesses.
