Default Engine whine when clutch it depressed

Lately my 04 gt has had a whine in the engine when i put the clutch in at idle .. its quite unsual and as soon as I release the cluth the sound is gone ... it isn't consistant and has shown no patterns of occurance... any ideas ?!

i noticed my 01 did that... i assume its normal because of all the other noise from the 3650.

Throwout bearing. I've yet to see a quiet design for one of these.

The tob usually makes noise whenthe clutch pedal INST depressed, so I dont think its that. My t-45 makes random noises sometimes too...I wish i could afford a new trans.

yea its the Throw out bearing, my 99gt did that w/ the stock clutch, i guess the factory ones are just plastic and arent made that great, when i got my centerforce it was a high quality metal, so no more problems nemore, its a good excuse to get rid of the stock clutch and put a stronger/more reliable one in

What ever fatty .. at least I drive my car and don't let it sit in my garage collecting dust all the time .. haha ..

Thanks yall .. I'll probably replace the cluth when I build my motor and turbo or supercharge the car this next summer ....
