There is no need to disconnect your stock gauge when installing an aftermarket oil pressure guage. Do as the tac2cul said and use the hole on the bottom just under the oil filter.

does anyone else but me think that using a MECHANICAL oil pressure gauge inside the cab of the car is a extremly bad idea?

Nothing like getting sprayed in the face with 200+ degree oil while in a rollover/accident or if the fitting simply pops off.

I know the electrical gauges are more expensive, but they are well worth it.
