So he only has a 35whp advantage, you can't forget about the ~130 tq advantage. I think it'll be a good race[&:]
+1 on getting some gears right before you race him. Don't race from a roll thats ricer stuff. If he can't get his car to hook up then he shouldn't be racing[&:]

Not to mention his motor is balanced and blueprinted. . . meaning 8500+ RPM. He can stay in gear longer. 35hp less and 600 pounds less. EH. . . I wouldn't put money on either of you. Practice your *** off and get some DR's and go for it.

So he's got a 2000ish SI coupe with an USDM Integra TypeR block and JDM Civic TypeR head. Running USDM Integra TypeR cams (hurting his HP, he could easily get more HP out of his setup with some Skunk2 cams). His setup pulls very well on the top-end. I think those cars weigh about 2700ish lbs. I hate to say it, but if you're all stock I think he will take you. Stock you're about 225RWHP and weigh in at like 500-600 lbs more then him. If his rear is gutted then its pretty quick.
Guy around here has a 2000 SI with just all boltons and a gutted rear interior and he beats WRXs (which are pretty close to our cars stock for stock). He's only got about 150ish FWHP too...just to give you an idea of why I'm saying this 190FWHP civic will probably take you.

yea...so what if its STILL a HONDA???...that doesn't mean jack and i can't stand people who think because a car is an import that it is garbage...good luck with the race man...he might take you...he won't RAPE you but it will be close...get the gears...FWD cars DO suck at hooking at the strip
