royal purple
I have 113K
I recently watched and episode of HORSEPOWER TV where they showed how royal purple was made.
My question is
is it safe to use in a car with 113k of plain oil used its whole life.....
Should i changed all? Rear end, tranny, and oil?

Yea I would like to know is Royal purple all its cracked up to be? is it worth it to switch?
Supposidly switching all the fluids to royal purple you can pick up a couple of HP and it will increase the interval time of oil changes and extend your engine life etc.......

RE: royal purple
nothing is wrong with switching to synth at that many miles, people say it is bad, but the only way anything could go wrong is if anything something is wrong with your motor to begin with. always chang your oil at 3000mi, the oil may not break down but it still gets dirty as s**t

RE: royal purple
My Diesel instructor told me quote, "... an oil filter works best on its second batch of oil.." so bassically he said that you should use oil filters twice. with in reason now. he also said it is bad to mix oils, brands and viscosities because they could repel eachother which is very bad.
