I've got an automatic and 2500rpm's is 65 mph and 75mph is almost 3000rpm's, slightly under with 4.10's. I could have gone 4.30's as at 75mph I would be turning about 125rpm more than I am now. Sounds like sticks have less of an OD. Mark

I daily drive my stang and I got 4.10s it doesnt hurt it one bit. Just makes the car funner to drive. I only turn 3k at about 82 mph, at 70 im cruisin at about 2300-2400 with my 3650

Just went for a ride in my friend's 01...the 4.30's are sick. And even with full boltons and cams first gear is still useable.

no way, not true. at 65 with 373's, id say 2300-2400 is a better guess.

Hell I ran a 4.56 in my 01 silverado with a 150 shot of juice and I was in love .. I have a 4.10 in my stang and I hit 2500 RPMs at 70 mph ... when I had my 3.55 I could hit 80 at 2500 RPMs .. So I'd Say a 4.30 wouldn't be that bad .. but I do know that I rarely use my 1st gear now if I had a 4.30 I'd probably never use it .. which is fine .. because you really don't need it .. haha

with a t3650 you will be fine for a DD, with a stock 27" tall tire you should be under 3k at 80 mph, now some people make a big deal out of that, but remember, these are NOT pushrod motors they are modular motors, so they need to rev to make power

I have 4:10`s , but now think 4:30`s might have been a better choice.Either way you`ll need control arms and some sticky tires to really enjoy them.

When it's time to build my rear end (lsd and axles), I'm going with 4.30's over these wimpy 3.73's..
