Default Mach question...QUICKLY*plz

Any of you guys have this tiny clear almost button lookin thing a couple inches below the headlight switch? We're taking it in to get it serviced and get the paint touched up on this little ding but my dad wanted to know if that button was meant for anything? Or do I get to be the lucky one with some random thing on their car and have no clue what its functionality is (if thats even a word) I thought it was like a theft thingy but then again i dunno...so any info would be wonderfullll!!!

It's not from the factory so who knows.

Yes, "functionality" is a word and you used it semi-properly. "Function" would have been a better choice.

Good luck with the touch-up.

Dammit, i was gonna take a picture but my dad drove away with it already to the dealer. Its not an actual button I know that because well...i pressed it and didnt go in . That woulda been cool if it was a secret NOS button or somethin haha.

it seems your car has been equipped with a super hi-tech theft deterring crime retardation light.

you'd be surprised...there are some STUPID criminals out there who would see a flashing light (other than our stupid "theft" flasher) and just assume the car has an alarm and walk away
