I have 98K miles and I am not burning oil that I can tell. I want to get input from you guys as to what I should do. Should I replace the intake and continue or pull the heads and upgrade to the PI heads and intake at this point or get a 99 and up engine ready to go and drop it in? What are my options? I don't race this car BUT I like to get what I can from it of course. Its a Miami Florida car and It is a real fun car to use when taking the dog to the beach. It has all the upgrades except the PI heads or the blower.

Get the Livernois Motorsports PI intake kit made to work with NPI heads. Easy to do.

I now live in a condo and I am not allowed to work on my car. I have to pay someone to do the work. I have all my tools in storage. I might be able to get away with swapping out the intake If it is not too much hassle. give me all the info you can. I would like to be smart about this. Money is not the issue but I am not rich.

My 98 had the same problem. I picked up the improved intake for our cars for about 180.00 shipped.

Should I buy a certain intake manifold like a 99 and up and modify it or should I just reintall the smae 96-98 intake?

if your looking for the stock npi intake, I was going to put it up on ebay. It has the aluminum crossover. My suggestion would be to go with the PI Swap, your car will wake up! If not, make me an offer.
