STOCK STRUT REMOVAL

RE: STOCK STRUT REMOVAL
The middle nut will allow it to drop out. But you need a draglink socket, this goes in the slot, then a long box end wrench to get the nut off. The bottom is held on by two large bolts which also keep the Control arm from dropping releasing the spring. So you have to make sure the control arm will not move when you pull the strut out. It could be dangerous if you dont know for sure what you are doing.

just unbolt from the top bolts and it will allow the plate underneath the wheel well to come loose when you lower the control arm and all that to take the spring off and then just drill out the rivets if your putting aftermarket cc plates on

Not to be a jerk...but there is a section at the top where it says all modifications, how-to's etc...if you looked in that thread you would find this. A complete walk-through of how to install suspension.
