Thats pretty much normal. Mine looks like that as well. It`s from the oil dripping out of the filter when it`s removed. Really no way to avoid that from happening. It dripps right onto the steering rack and then goes all over.

Thanks for the input you guys .. this is actually for my little brother .... as you have seen I have an 04 sonic blue vert im doing a turbo build on and an s281e speedster conversion ...

We found this car in Illinois and worked the guy down to 14000 even before taxes tag etc .. its a 2004 sonic blue gt coupe with 27000 miles on it .. so I can't wait to get the car and suprise the hell out of my brother !!!!!
