RE: What should i run in the 1/4 ?
I know that drag radials will get me into the 13s. I went to the track for the first time and pulled off a slow time of 14.7 @ 98mph. I had no problem for my reaction time the whole night my best being .041, but my 60ft time s****. All night is was eatha a 2.4-2.6 because i was spinning when i hit 2nd gear. Its my 60ft times that are killing me. I think the track was bad that night because other cars were having trouble to on street tires. New vetts were running high 13s! how could i fix the spinning through my 60ft? On the street i have no problem hooking up from a stop at a light. I raced my friends 96 impala ss(Modified Best ET - 14.2) from a roll he cant touch me. From a stop it is close all the time but i end up taking him by 1- 1 1/2 car lengths so i kno my 1/4 mile time should be at least a 14 or 13.9 before gears. What would you suggest?

Learning to drive better. It takes practice. My best was 2.14 or something, and 1.83 with nittos.

Ya for the track thats true. I knew driving at the track was going to be alot different. But i do alot better on the street lol What mod would you suggest next? I have spent alot on my car and iv only had it for 3 months. I know i need a programmer(SCT?) because i have the gears. maybe a dyno tune? What about the P51 intake? any suggestions..

Ya thats what i was planning on doing, but i was also looking at a nice turbo. Hellion makes a nice turbo system. I know the turbo is more expensive but i think it would be worth it. My plan is doing all or most of the bolt ons then do it big with a forged short block with a nice cam and P&P heads. Thats where etha the turbo or supercharger comes in?
