Kind of a broad question...

Summer 1-2 minutes
Chilly 3 minutes
Below freezing 5-8 minutes

At least thats what I do...

read your owners manual... no warmup time needed. I have an '03 GT as well.

That's probably a bad idea. You should let your car warmup till its at least at the bottom of the normal opperating temp. Give the car a couple on miuntes (especially when it cold) to let the oil and other fluids warm up and get to the proper viscosities (sp?). If you start you car and go when its really cold out, you oil is gonna be really thick.

I didn't come up with it, it's in the owners manual. bad idea or not! They made it so I guess they know a little more than you do about it.

Thats actually very bad advice and i don't care what your owners manual says! Modulars have extremely tight bearing clearances and need to be warmed up to operating temps or you will severely shorten the life of your main bearings. This is even more important if you have an aluminum block.

i would say negative... no warm up needed - its not a ferrari its a FORD

that said - you should warm it up before going above 3 grand and shifting hard (any rpm)
