Gear Whine...what to listen for.

Gear Whine...what to listen for.
Ok so I just got my gears installed, and now Im getting a whine. I only hear it when I let off the gas at around 40mph+. Is this a alignment issue....not properly shimmed, a contact issue... the gears are brand new 3.73 FRPP

its a back lash issue - you have two options - fix it .. or live with the whine and hope that its not bad enough to fugg up the rear end - who installed - how much you pay and how far have you driven?
