Just FYI, but if you leave the car otherwise mostly stock (no cams etc) a supercharged car can still be fairly economical.
Hell, I went from about 20.2 MPG before to 21.5 MPG after on the highway.
City is a completely different story though. With the cams/longtubes etc etc in city driving can be down in the single digits with plenty of the go pedal
