I love the look of the New Edge because I think it an intimidating look to it as well having a modern look. I especially love how it looks lowered. I like how the how the New Edge has defined lines which make it more beefy looking. The s197's are to sleek looking and personally I think are too big. I don't mind the sn95's. Just a little too much rounded. I was 16 when the New Edge's came out so I think that somewhat influences my decision. The Fox bodies are just too boxy for my taste. The 03/04 Cobra and Mach 1 both really hit the nail right on the head with their styling. Both hoods on those two cars really set them off. I agree that the Cobra could use 10.5's in the back but I do like the Cobra wheels. I love the shaker on the Mach but absolutely despise the wheels. The retro styling in the interior of the Mach is real nice and the white face gauges of the Cobra really play to the race feeling off the car.

funny story in my case. i originally wanted any mustang between the years of 87-95 and 99-04. completely leaving out the 97-98 models. my first love was the 87-93 foxbodies. i did not even consider getting a different mustang no matter what at first. i wanted a fox body soooo bad. after not being able to find one in our area that could make it home without a good push. i moved on to the new edges 99-04. after not finding any that i could afford. as a last resort i started looking for 94-95 mustangs. also after not finding any that could meet my criteria i had to make a choice. look for the mustang that i hated most, or start looking at trans-ams and comaros. long story short i now drive a 98gt 5spd. i couldnt love it more. i ended up finding it in the neighborhood next to mine. some 58 year old guy had it from day 1. its got 50,000 mi. on it. what a freekin' deal. ive learned to love my car, but still remotely wish i had a new edge. most likely will be my next car after college.
