hey guys i was lookin at cdc's shaker hood scoop kit for the 04 stang. all their pics have the same base hood. will this kit work on a gt stang with the factory hood scoop? i know it would have to be removed but im wondering if it would look weird with the factory body lines? would it work i guess is my question?

so you have to buy the mach hood to use the shaker kit?

When you get the shaker setup it looks goofy with the stock hood, so then you have to pay another couple hundred for the mach 1 hood, then another couple hundred to get it painted... which is why you dont see many people with it... But it looks the best.

The Mach hood has a larger rise.

i think i know what you mean, the gt has the indention running up to the scoop, the mach has a long rise in the hood that the shaker kinda "sits" on top of
