How much would aftermarket cams be? I'm N/A, would it benefit me greatly? Lots of power gains? Any recommended brands? Should I even buy them? Can I go DOHC? Any cam information would be helpful thank you.

RE: cams
Crancams makes a nice set of cams, not sure on the price, but a cam swamp on any engine is always a good idea for more power. The swap on the 4.6L engine isn't actually as hard as it may look at first. I've done three so far, but have yet to do mine Haha, anyway, It's not too bad, takes about 3-4hrs.

RE: cams
cam's are ruffly 600 for a set. Popular brands are VT and Comp. Crower just to name a few. I would go VT, but thats just me, go with one or the other. Stage one's would be fine for a stock internals. if you went more you wouldnt see as big as advantage because the the limitations of the stock internals and the fact the internals wont like that high of rpms
Not sure for install price. If you are getting cams would be a good time to go ahead and get heads and also put in better valve springs.
If you are wanting to go DOHC, just buy a DOHC motor, less work.

What is the advantage of having heads, I already have a PI motor. I hear good things about VT. Are they just another engine part/engine manufacturer? Do they make heads that would give me more power?

In my opinion, for a stock motor, a cam swap isn't worth the $1000+ you are going to spend before it is done, all for about 20 - 25 horses. You would be better off spending that money on some nitrous, you'll be a lot happier. Unless you plan on forging your bottom end some time soon, don't bother with the cams.

Nothing personal, but you spent $500 on an intake that nets 2 hp. 25 hp seems like a bargin for $1000.
