Jack up front end. Hold wheel at 9 and 3. if you have play in suspension while pushing back and forth, it has worn tie rod ends.Next, hold tire at 12 and 6.If you have play while wiggling it this way, your ball joints are probably worn. Hope this helps .

ball joints my old car did that when it was cold
another thing possible if you have a clutch...
when i turn in my driveway and push clutch i get that sound...
maybe gears in tranny???? possible i don't know
considering there worn down and rocking back and forth

mine does the same thing. i took it to a shop and it obviously has something to do with like the steering arm or something. im gonna take it in and have them fix it since it is still under warrenty

I was having a "popping" a while back when turning. The brackets on my exhuast system loosened up, and when turning the loop over the axel was making contact with the frame. Just fod for thouht to check out.
