First time running my car
 

they were only running the 1/8 mile, because the wind. i was PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my class was only allowed 2 runs because they had to start eliminations.:( wish i knew that before i went, but all in all it was fun. and i got lined up against two built and blown foxes running slicks on both runs[:@].

first time running my car on bald Nittos, Mods: shifter(catback too, if that counts:D):

first run
60 - 2.183
1/8 - 9.147
mph - 78.04

second run i missed third


i searched some converters online to 1/4 mile times, and i figure i was in the 14.2 range. what do you guys think, not bad for popping my cars cheery.

for the first time out i would be happy. first day out the best i got was a 14.467@ 99.66 with a 9.505@78.44 1/8mile and my 60' was a 2.370. and that was the 3rd pass that night.

are you stock or modded.

Im pretty stock and recently ran a 14.123 1/4 mile time on street tires. I think I did well. What do you guys think?

doing good, about where you should be.

All the stock 99-04 GT's here are actually running low 15's with a random really really high 14

hmm looks like i have somethin to look forward to. when next season opens ill give you guys my numbers. =D hopefully i can hook because i know i can shift good.

I'm not picking on you, I swear, but low 15's in a New Edge GT? Should be mid to low 14's...right?

it just depends on tires....a stock GT can run 13's on drag radials.....but these cars are so hard to get to hook with street tires : /

i ran a 15.1 when i went. i just dont really think im launching right...i keep getting horrible 60's. can i ask what you guys are launching at? and by nittos u mean the regular street ones or the d/r ones?
