who makes good lower/upper control arms? If I put them in would it mess up any other suspension components, or would they just be beneficial? Do they help daily handling as well as traction?

you won't notice much of a handling improvement due to the fact that it doesn't help stabilize the car much laterally. however, you will notice a great improvement in wheel hop. Granatelli (sp?) makes a good set. Check them out on ebay.

Like these Granatellis?????? These seem too cheap to be true. Is it important for them to be adjustable?

The best set up IMO would be Ford Racing Uppers and then Maximum Motorsports lower. Damage can be done due to too stiff of upper control arms bushings to the torque boxes. Adjustables would be mostly useful for drag racing and track, so not needed for street use. MM's site is a good learning place

Those are good control arms from what I've heard. If you are wanting to spend the extra money, get some Adjustable UCAs so you can change the pinion angle, and regular LCA.

I have those same granatelli CAs and they are fine. As long as you have poly bushings, the torque boxes will be fine. Using CAs with spherical bushings is not advised unless you fully weld the boxes and/or install plates in the boxes. Welding is probably easier.
