RE: camaro driver looking at an '03 GT
I just picked up a 2003 GT Vert Automatic (wife has to drive it on occasion) Centenial Edition with every option, leather, Mach 1000 etc for
$16500 from a Ford dealer.
Car had one local owner, serviced by Ford with all records and is absolutely mint.
Oh, it has 16k on it.
The dealer was asking $19,000 for it and I made him an offer he couldn't refuse [8D]
Whenever you purchase a used car from a dealer you have to factor in what I call "The Hose Factor".
This is the amount that the person trading it in on a newer model, got hosed by the dealer.
It is this number that will determine how low they can go on the car and every car is different, even if they are
the exact same model and year.
For example, if the previous owner got a low price on the trade but a *great deal* on his new car, the dealer can let
the car go for less than if the previous owner got a good price on both his trade and upgrade, which is rare.
Always offer a real lowball price on a dealer used car because most people get hosed badly on trade ins.
I absolutely LOVE MY CAR BTW !!

Well, it looks clean from that one picture, but almost anything could if they wanted to make it appear clean.
where at in indiana are you from *(note, i havent checked PM's yet lol)*
if its something youre willing to pay for, then go for it, they are nice cars, and 20K is just starting life
good luck man, if you think you can find better, like said earlier, dont be afraid to walk away and keep searching
