2000-2500 sounds about right to build your own trubo kit a nice one actually good for around 650-750rwhp were building one for my buddy's camaro and hes right at 2000 with no tune right now

Wow thanks alot. I did not expect so much feed back. Any way, yes it does sound alot cheaper and i do have the knowlage to do it i think. Oh yah Mike that was a retarded answer.

Do research in your area.. find out who the best turbo guys are .. If you're in charlotte nc area .. its CIN motorsports... haha nice plug .. anyway .. Have them break down the system you want and then you go part hunt online .. bring back the parts .. let them do it .. and go have fun .. I know I'm getting hooked up with forged pistons, h-beam rods, cobra crank etc... complete motor rebuild basically with a 1 off remote mount turbo kit ... tuned to around 4-5 psi for daily driving .. roughly 350-400 rwhp with it capable of 650-700 rwhp when cranked up .. all that .. all labor .. tune the whole deal for $6500 ... how sick is that ?! ...
