WEll i just got my throttle body n plenum n i started to install it... the holes lined up very nicley but the top bolts where the throtle cable conncets to the plenum dont fit and the hose in the back of the plenum (some type of vacum hose i beilve) wont go on thier either. i barley got the hose on just enough to start the car. when i started it it idles for 2 secs n died... i tried tuning the car wit my tuner n still it did the same thing?

its a 70 mm acufab tb/plenum i dont have a cam but on the how to tech article one of the pics i can show what i mean but i duno how to copy n paste a pic

1) Hypertech is just about the worst tuner made.

2) Why are you trying to 'tune' a car that will not run?

3) Some companies make different plenums for the 4.6 motor. Some that work on, say my car, will not work on yours and vice versa. Is it possible you got a 'newer' one for an older car?

Does the new 70mm unit look exactly like the stock one?, if not you perhaps have the wrong part.

Without pics I can say you just install the new one the reverse of taking the stock one off.

i just dont get it all the hoses are right gaskets are in intake on well its been garged for about 2 weeks so it hasnt been started but that wont make it stall out though ne one have a prblem with instilation with this throttle on the 94-98 gt? thanks
