I'm interested in buying a new exhaust system for my 04 GT. All the kits show a 2.5" pipe but it appears the stock system is 2.25" Will these 2.5" kits bolt up to the 2.25" H-pipe? is there an adapter or how does this work?

If you have it in your budget, replace the mid pipe, too. Even catted midpipes are 10X better than stock. You'll have better performance AND sound. My .02

Catted mid pipes can run $350 and up. You can listen to mine (see sig). The audio is not stereo and was made with a still camera with video function, but it's what I had. I'm working on a new exhaust vid soon.

sounds awesome. I like it. so the catted mid pipes are H pipes? And the 2.5" will bolt right up to the stock system?
