As you'll know I have a S/C with PI heads. No detonation at all so pretty happy. I was wondering if I went with the snow performance methanol/water cooler would that be advantageous to the setup up as in keeping it even safer?????

I have the kit on the car I just got. They were able to advance timing and retune w/ it.. gained around 30rwhp over the vortech alone.. the mix is methanol and water..... in otherwords, windshield wiper fluid. The pump mounts above the tank, you tap onto the windshield wiper resiviour, and make sure you use -20 or better windshield wiper fluid to get enough methonal. Snow also makes a higher meth content fluid you can buy.

It works great.. especally if you dont want to go w/ an aftercooler. The spray is nice and cold so it cools the temps a lot, plus the methonal is a great octane booster. I just filled up the tank this evening actualy.. it doesnt run out to quick.. and windshield wipe fluid is pretty cheap... around 5 bucks for a gallon of the -30 stuff at the parts store, just have to make sure it has meth in it.
