Default Dumped? VS Full? Exhaust

I want to dump my exhaust....cant really afford for full piping back....code told me that when he dumped his he lost some torque......anyone else have any suggestions/ideas?

I've never heard of losing torque from doing dumps. Don't use anymore than 2.5 piping though. I wouldn't recommend going any bigger unless you're making over 400 rwhp. Anything less, then you will some torque. An added bonus to doing dumps is it sounds so good. Only bad part is that your interior will smell like carbon monoxide as well as your clothing and anything else that you leave in the car, lol.

yes way! anyway id just save up and do the full exhaust. imo if you're going to do something do it right or don't do it at all. but thats just me

I would love to dump mine for that badass sound, but I don't want the possible side effects. Such as the exhaust getting inside the car, or possibly losing torque.

mine are dumped right now but its my stock exhaust.....its really loud but doesnt provide the sound nor the HP when I do my headers/ o/r x

I dont know about the whole losing torque thing but it sounds great. Its pretty loud inside the car since it sits right under the back seats

my exhaust is dumped and i wouldnt change it at all. everyone says i should have the pipes out the back but i absolutely love the sound..and yes you will get more gas fumes from when its dumped, but i dont mind it
