4.10's and FI?

RE: 4.10's and FI?
I had 4.10's on my NA cobra and now on the SC GT.. and no. You will need to investin drag radials, but they are a blast. Definatly not to much gear for any thing with a T-45 or newer.. the T-5's I would stay w/ 3.73's.. I think 4.10's woulda been to much in my fox.

i am procharged with 4.10s on my 99 cobra...its a little to handle but its a blast to drive...what you'll find is most people would say 3.73's with f/i unless you have an automatic transmission in which 4.10's will offer the best performance...but then again...ive seen f/i and 4.30 too

I'm rockin a 3.73 with my vortech. Can't coment yet though...it goes to the shop on wednesday to get tuned & the gear put in. I suppose if you had the weld in sub-something connectors a 4.10 would be nice.

Yeah, forgot to mention that.. dont plan on hooking up w/ stock suspension.. Drag radials are definatly a must. I put the power down well enough to where I actualy bog if I dont launch quite high enough.. The suspension mods on my car are:
FRPP 4.10 rear end gears
FRPP 8.8 axle girdle
Steeda full length subframe connectors (weld in)
Steeda upper control arms
Steeda lower control arms
Strange 10 way adjustable struts
Monroe Sensitrack shocks
Eibach Pro springs
4 bolt caster/camber plates
BFG G-force 315/35's

Also, some people will disagree with my thinking, but drag radials & stock rear CAN be an issue...

I am planning on doing gears really soon but dont know if Ill do any sort of fi in the future. Are 4.10's too much gear for nitrous or a supercharger?
