Default Exhaust question????

I was told that flowmaster restricts 4V motors bad, has anybody heard this? Also is MAC exhaust any good? Im thinking I might change out my Magnaflow cat back for the mac pro dumps. Magnaflow to me just doesnt do a cobra justice. (to quiet) ! Let me know what you guys think and girls....

Thanks- Brandon

Its really all about preference. Some people will reccommend x exhaust, some will reccommend y exhaust. Its mostly what people like. Do some research and see in your opinion what sounds the best on the car you'd be putting it on. Its hard to really say what the best exhaust is since so many people stand by different systems.

No, I have not heard this. I don't follow the logic either.

Default RE: Exhaust question????

Who told you this stuff?

Any baffled muffler doesn't quite flow as well as a straight through design, but the stuff you need to be worried about is your manifolds/headers & your mid-pipe. MAC products are cheap & affordable for a reason. They aren't anywhere near the quality of a Magnaflow/SLP/Bassani/Borla cat-back. It's not a huge issue, but it might not fit the best, go together easy or hold up well to the elements.

I had MAC products before and they were terrible quality. They required repairing (is it even repairing when you have to finish incomplete welds?) before I could install them.
