Default New motor update

new motor and new tranny are now in the race car. we had some problems on the dyno. apparantly we have pegged the stock MAF so right now with full bolt on (minus TB and MAF) the car puts down 416hp and 405 trq. i will have pics and dyno video up in a few days

How much you think it will put down after all is said and done... and also what did your last motor put down?

Congrats on getting it all put back together.

i hope were talking naturally aspirated here with those power numbers unless your race motor is infact not a race motor im just being a smart *** lol what maf were you running? for anyone who reads this never buy a lightning MAF they blow and cant handle any true power if you buy one youll just be wasting your money

I beileve he is either running a 4v or a cammer motor... both of which could easily make those numbers.

its 100% NA. its the cammer motor with a stroker kit so its 5.3L im running the stock 80mm MAF but with the accufab TB the motor pulls too much air and pegs the maf.

Rofl...what a joke.

Guys its a super top secret engine! Why even post about your new engine if you aren't willing to tell anyone what's done to it?[&:]
