ok here is my ? how hard or how much in labor would it be for swaping my 2002 2v to a mach 1 engine my friend is selling me his engine with like 50 somethin k and the tranny how hard or is it even posible right now its a stock 2v auto going to a mach 1 standard trans
For the money you spend on the swap, I'd just swap out the the 2v stock internals for the forged ones and run some good stage 2 heads cams and make just as much n/a power. The 2v's are good when its set up properly and with forged internals can run 700rwhp with f/i. As far as trans go , drop a 3600+ converter in the auto and run with or beat manuals, but the choice is yours. I just think that the 4v swap is over rated unless you are trying to make 800+rwhp.
