You would definately have to find a shop around there and get ask them... every shop has different price ranges on installing things.

if you do it yourself it should be easy man the engine is just a direct swap bolt it right in youll just have to go to a junk yard or what not a buy a new shfter bezel or whatever the hell it is called so you can ditch the gay auto shifter for a shift boot and then get the clutch pedal assembly out of the car also ....that should be all youll need assuming the engine will come with the ecu and harness ive read you can use the gt ecu with tuning and the harness with extending a few wires here and there but if you pay for this to be done i could only imagine you paying anywhere from 1500-2000 for labor and miscellaneous parts and crap youll need

I think if you can get a shop to pull the existing engine/trans, put the 4v in, tune it properly, and then swap your auto trans for a manual, your gonna be real lucky to get away with a 2k install.

How much does your friend want for the engine/transmission. The mach 1 cars are not THAT much more expensive now, and you would have the looks and the rest of the goodies if you just buy a mach 1.

You can get cobra pull-out motor on ebay for 4-5 grand. Much stronger short-block than the Mach 1.

Seriously though, if you're going to spend that much money, just get a Cobra if you want big power.
