my car sounds pretty good, really throaty. the fitting sucks though, I had to take the torch to it a few times to stop banging on the drivers side of the crossmember under hard acceleration. A few people I talked to that had 98's had the same problem with x-pipes so maybe it was just the year. it's quiet under normal acceleration but when you mash on the gas it sounds great!!
haven't had any other problems and I had it for about a year. help this helps.

I've heard of the term straight pipes but I'm not familiar with how it differs from a o/r or catted mid pipe, and how can it still pass emissions?
