New edge Mustangs are better looking, but if you compared a Camaro to a Trans-Am there is absolutely no competition. Any Firebird varient is bad *** looking, WS6 being the nicest. I'll admit I had my eyes on a few before I got my 04 GT and I'll eventually if I find a nice silver/black one have it as my DD but......Camaros are gay end of story. I'll admit firebirds of all types look crappy as convertibles though but hey im bias I think everything does.
As for the race you'll most likely take him off the line with the 4.10's and then theres always a chance he'll miss shift. Good luck im looking forward to the results. Im in Sarasota but theres no way id be able to make it out there to see it unfortunately.

My friend challenged me to a race at the gainesville dragstrip. He's got a 2000 Trans Am WS6 with 6 speed and t-tops. I know I will lose but I want to test out my new drag radials before I ship off to basic training. Anyone care to join us? We are planning to go there on Wednesday November 8th, I know it's a short notice but if you can make it thats great. Gates open at 6:30pm.

with his mods, 4.10's and d/r a 13.5 should be attainable without much difficulty - as long as he knows how to launch with the drag tires.
Personally, I love the WS6's (except for the honeycomb rear lights)..
