Default GT vs. WS6 @ Gainesville

My friend challenged me to a race at the gainesville dragstrip. He's got a 2000 Trans Am WS6 with 6 speed and t-tops. I know I will lose but I want to test out my new drag radials before I ship off to basic training. Anyone care to join us? We are planning to go there on Wednesday November 8th, I know it's a short notice but if you can make it thats great. Gates open at 6:30pm.

Hey, don't be so negative. If he's stock, lol - you might have a shot... if you cut those d/r with a clean 60" - i'd say you have a GOOD shot of beating him... most t/a stock run a mid 13.. you're car is capable of that without the d/r on a good run... You might get em!! good luck!

November 8th, lol..smartasses. and yes in Florida. The LS1 is stock, but my only prayer for winning is if he screws up. He ran a 13.3 at the gainesville track last time.

I went to the track today, and a 20something ws-6 auto went with me. He ran like 13.2. I ran 14.1 and my friend ran 13.6 in his GT with DR's.
