Strut Bar Worth It?

RE: Strut Bar Worth It?
There was a guy on the site here who had done it, can't remember his mod list but it was very short. Had drag tires with bigs and littles, strange adjustables, upper and lower control arms, 4.10s, motor was 100% stock except for a k&n filter i believe.

no way a guy can hit 12's with just suspension work and an air filter...he had to have bolt ons...

the only advantage you will get from the strut bar is if you have a very torquey motor that will twist your front end apart, or do a lot of high speed road course tracks

No, there is a definite and noticeable improvement with a strut tower brace for racing and daily driving on a stock motor. I have a maximum motorsports on mine and love it, there was an immediate improvement in the front end feel. I'd recommend maximum motorsports.
I should also mention the install is easy. The only con is some aftermarket intakes won't fit under it (JLT is one). Ill be getting a demolet intake as soon as I get the cash scraped up. It's advertised to fit under braces, so well see...

It's been done many times. Even the magazines got into it because people were compaining that this 260hp car was running so slow. The engine has the power to get the weight down the track...the suspension just isn't set up from the factory to do so.
