Default HEADLIGHT OXIDIZATION

What do you guys recomend to remove the oxidization on my headlights?

I think you mean oxidation. Ive heard of a couple different ways to can do this, wet sand with 2500, or use a buffer and some polishing compund, that should remove the haze from the lenses.

The best idea is probably to just spend the 200 bucks and get some new headlights.

pick up some mcguires plastX..... that stuff works awesome for cleaning up oxidation and does all sorts of other good stuff!

mine seem to have some type of clear coat over them that is starting to crack and peel off? what caused that? mine dont have any haze to them.

After u get them clean, keep you headlights waxed to help reduce the oxidation. I wax mine when i wax my car.

ooh, i dont know about waxing them, i tried that on my ranger and it just about trashed the lenses, i used meguiars gold, it works great on paint but for some reason it did not like the headlights.

new headlighst will add LIFE to you car! some lady asled me if my stang was a new 05' new headlights IMO is the best cosmetic upgrade you can get for the money.

I agree new headlights would do wonders for the look of yer car! I see alot of stangs out there with fogged headlights and
they look really take away form the looks of the car! When I bought my car they were oxidized real bad and I couldn't wait to get new ones put on!
These are just like the ones I picked up last summer and I am really pleased
with them. Got them for $110.90 shipped to my door. Smoked is the way to go!!
