Default Driveshaft question

I`ve never seen it posted so here goes. One of my future mods is going to be an aluminum drive shaft, so does anyone have one? and does it help with acceleration enough to drop 269.00 bucks on it? Thanks

Default RE: Driveshaft question

its not really about acceleration its more about the fact that it weighs half as much and its a lot stronger than a stock one. if u arent makin a lot of power then u dont need it for now but if u plan on goin to the track and leaving hard off the line (4,000- 5,000) by droppin the clutch with slicks then there is a pretty good chance u'll snap that stock one.[sm=trust_me.gif]

If your stock one is rusted out...like mine... it doesnt even take 4,000 rpms to snap it
