I've never seen anything claiming 380-400hp out of the 09.

As far as I know, the 09 will be a minor re-design year with minimal performance changes.

Yeah 2009 will be one bad year with the mustang face lift, the new camaro, and challenger. I heard somewhere about the top model camaro(I guess SS) will sport a 6.2L with 450hp. And SALEEN making 2 models with it, expecting 485 N/A and 600hp Supercharged. That's some scary shhhhhhhhh! I think performance wise these cars won't pull 1/4 mile numbers like 96-04 models with 450+hp, seems like they are getting heavier, I know challenger will be and from the pics of the 09 Camaro it don't look light.
Yeah that is very true. The new Cobra weighs somewhere around 5000 pounds. The new GTO based of the new Camaro platform looks sexy and both the GTO and Camaro will have the 6.2L option with 450-475 hp from what I hear. The '09 Stang looks horrible and unless Ford does something about the look of it, I might actually be forced to go with the GTO or Challenger. I also heard of a 6.3L motor Ford wants to come out with to show up GM's 6.2L and Mopars 6.1L. It's supposed to be N/A and have 500hp. Anyone else hear rumors about it?
Awesome then maybe gm will put out a 10.0 L and have around 800 hp heheh omg what happened? we going back to big blocks now? I guess so I am assuming these have that select cylinder shut off thingy to conserve the gas mileage or um yea a trip to the grocery store is gonna be a tank of gas.
^^ Haha you remember the battle in Car and Driver Magazine between the 580 something ci Camaro and the 429 10.0L Boss? The boss spanked some Camaro *** in the 1/4 mile times I still put that in all my Camaro driving buddies faces LOL

It is gonna be very interesting... but i don't think they will get much threat from GTO as 2006 will be the last year that GTO will be made in the states according to GM and Motor Trend magazine.

gas should be about $3.50 a gallon by 09 so you boys save up for that car! I'll keep my 03 GT.
