Default 2009 mustang

So i'm reading road and track magazine, and apparently they say the 2009 gt is going to be rated somewhere between 350-400BHP and the v6 rated at 260BHP....................................... seems like sn-95 and new edge is going right out the window compared to this new stuff

These cars will never last long enough to be classics. I honestly dont believe people will be restoring these cars in 20 years like they restore older cars now.

Please gentlemen jus think all these domestic muscle cars are coming back full force and with the power to back it up.

I feel bad for the imports when the new camaros, challengers, mustangs hit the streets running STOCK with 300hp+ They are gonna have so much HP from the factory its gonna be sick well be spanking imports left and right.

I wouldnt doubt these new cars coming out run low 13's high 12's possibly 11's with special packages ( SS, R/T, SVT)
What are those poor import drivers gonna do they are squeezing every bit of power from there turbo charged 4 and 6 cylinders motors as is now when these monsters hit the road. The reign of the muscle car shall return o yes!!

Ford already has the engines with the outputs listed. It would be nice to get that new 3.5L Duratec between the fenders for the 6-banger crowd (263hp in the Lincolns).

A 400hp 4.6L from the factory doesn't seem too far of a stretch considering what they have in the parts bin.
