Default Customizing my O/R Prochamber

So i was thinking the otherday, since the SLP Xpipes have the interchangable cats and race pipes, would this be possible to do with my O/R Prochamber? could i cut out a section of my H pipe to clamp in Cats for my inspections, or just when i dont want it as loud? i would think that all you would need to have is a sawzall and 2 high flow cats and some big band exaust clamps. has anyone done this?

Something I've wondered too. Id think it would work out as long as the outside diameter of the piping was the same and the cuts were exact. Youd probably need the clamps and some type of liquid non-permanent high temp gasket stuff to seal the clamps up to prevent leaks though.

ive been looking around, and i can get 2.5" diameter i/o high flow cats off ebay that are CARB compliant for $40 a piece, and i can get exhaust band clamps from summit for about $8. i dont even think that i would have to take off my midpipe, i bet i could just measure the cat, cut it while its on there, and then attach it with the band clamps. that totals about 120 or 30 after shipping, and is alot cheaper than ordering that half from MAC, who charged $240 for the whole section, and i dont have to mess with those dad gum header bolts

i was actually planning that exact same thing a while ago. i had totally forgotten until you reminded me but my plan was the same as yours. CARB compliant (****ing california) cats and just bolt them in/out. i was pretty worried about leaks though...you think hi temp RTV would work? it would probably be annoying and messy though to get off.
