Default transmission swap

I've found another mustang in my city who wants to swap their 2000 gt manual for my 2000 gt auto. I just have a couple of questions about this. Would it be better for us to swap ecu's or just have our current ecu's modified using a predator or sct tuner? Also what about our PATS system? Are they going to have to be reflashed, so that our cars will crank if we swap ecu's? I've called some shops and the cheapest ive found to do the swap is Dynospeed Racing for $400 dollars. Would this be considered a good deal? Also since the guy i found has an aftermarket aluminum flywheel, and king cobra clutch he wants to charge me extra for these parts. I guess my question is, how much would it be for the stock flywheel and clutch? I've tried calling the ford shops here and all i get is the answering machine [:@].

400 is cheap really cheap for a auto to manual swap...youll also need a new shifter bezel you could just trade him i suppose and then youll need the clutch pedal assembly from his car id say just put a stall and shift kit in your auto and keep it what if his trans is going out that would blow

that would be a good idea except for the fact that both of us are VERY attached to our cars and i would definately not want to switch cars.

truthfully ill tell you what i would do if i were you i would keep my auto and the money it was going to take for the swap and the clutch and flywheel and everything else i would spend it on a stall and shift kit you might enjoy that but then its still an auto and the only time that would be fun is never but it would be better for racing than a 5 speed due to consistancy not sure if your into the whole drage thing or not if your not and you can get away with a 5 speed conversion under a grand i would be impressed especially with clutch and flywheel

Well sit down with your car.... and bring up the subject if she would like to "swing." Now before you get all nervous.... swinger life is VERY fun. Ask me, I'm an expert! And have your friend talk to his car.... I'm pretty sure yall 4 can come to an adult like agreement. Try it. Yall make like it.

Now remeber if jealously starts.... just give it time... If by the 3rd or 4th time you are still jealous, then go ahead with the operation.
