Whenever I shift at hight rpms at jerks a lot, should i hold the clutch in a little bit while accelerating when shifting from 1st to second, or what can I do to stop the jerking at higher rpms, without wearing out my clutch? thanks
right before the clutch is all the way out, start accelerating, this should stop the jerk. when u shift, if u just "pop" the clutch out without any gas, it will jerk.

LOL holy confusing thread batman...

Anyways, Mustangs have loose drivetrains, hence a lot of rocking/jerky ride while driving & shifting.

Keep your foot in the gas just a touch while you shift, it'll help smooth out your shifts. You don't just depress and quickly pop the clutch.

yea you are letting out the clutch to fast. thats why it gets all jerky. i only have to let out the clutch slow when i shift from 1-2 and after that if im at a high anough speed it doesnt get as jerkey when i go 2-3. after 2nd gear i dont really let the clutch out that slow. this is under daily driving. when tryin to shift quick i let that **** out as fast as i can and mash the gas. i usually dont feel any jerking there... just pushed you back in the seat a little

AS MoKo said, and I'm sure he's being helpful here but you DO need to practice driving a stick. If your previous car had a hydralic clutch, that could be the problem, you need to get use to what you have now, good luck.
