Default SHIFFTING PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2004 mustang gt rebuilt and whenever I switch from first to second, the rpm drops down below 1000rpm and makes this weird noise and stops after I accelerate, I was wondering if it mattered if the rpm's drope below 1000rpm after shifting? thanks

Yeah it matters a lot, it's lugging the engine and it's horrible to do.

What RPM are you shifting at?

I switch 1st at 1300rpm and was wondering if it was because I wait untill i let go of the clutch fully before I accelerate, does it matter if i accelerate while the clutch is in? thanks

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early. Shift over 3k and work your way down with practice.

Whenever I shift at hight rpms at jerks a lot, should i hold the clutch in a little bit while accelerating when shifting from 1st to second, or what can I do to stop the jerking at higher rpms, without wearing out my clutch? thanks

let off the clutch a little easier, you'll allow the drivetrain and engine to catch up to each other, sounds like your poppin the clutch...just take off from first, foot off gas, put the clutch in, put it in second, and let off the clutch then gently press the gas...but if you hold the gas down you'll power shift which will burn a clutch, it takes some getting used to

check your tranny fluid, you having trouble getting it outta reverse sometimes?
