Default Please help ASAP! Need a size

I suddenly got an exhaust leak yesterday, so I look under the car and the part where the exhaust manifold flange meets the X-pipe is loose. I've been to the store and back a couple times with the wrong size nuts for the studs. The last one I tried was a 3/8 inch but it wouldn't go on. Does anyone know the size of the diameter of the stud?

I did a quick search and it looks like 15mm, according to someone else's instructions.

It should be a metric thread I think ?

What size wrench was needed for the original nuts ?
