Default Shorty Antenna Install

Bought a 14" Mach 1 shorty antenna and was going to install it. It has three small silver adapter pieces as well as a small 1" black piping. Any one want to elaborate on how to install this, it didn't come with directions or anything explaining what these three pieces are.

Anyone know why they include the extra pieces then, if they have no use?

Because they are for other car models as well. Use the one that firs your car, all the others are trash. BTW, my reception is just fine with the shorty.

Just like everyone else is saying, should just be a screw off - screw on type thing. Just dont do what I did and snap the threads in half[:@]. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to fix that one....
