KartR Thanks man. I like to think that I'm a muture teen. Also when I go fast its always at a place known as Chalk Ridge Where there are no cops and no body but teens drive. The cops know we go thier but its a smaller town and the cops are just happy where not doing it on main street so they leave us alone.
I would also like to thank everyone for their help.
P.S. everyone is alert to the fact that the 4 speed auto is geared different than a 5-speed right? Some peoples speed with 4:10 gears make me think their talking about a 5-speed.

The stock torque converter will lock up forming a solid link between the engine and driveshaft. The mileage loss will be from the weight and power robbing fluid pumping when the converter isn't locked up.
