Hey, Ive done this with a hypertech programmer on my old trans am, but the question is ...In my directions for the SCT it says to pull the fuel pump and electric fan fuses before installing the software....??? Never had to do this on my old T/A...Did you guys do this and which fuses are they???Sorry for the stupid ?....Thanks for any input...

Im not sure but before i got the dyno tune i installed the tuner program and didnt all the fuse and whatever else stuff and it worked just fine.

the fuses and locations are in the owner's manuel. if your 00 is the same as my 03, if your standing on the drivers side front quarter panel and looking over the engine bay, the electric fan fuse is the one farthest from you on the right, and the fuel pump is the one farthest from you on the left. hope it helps. i pulled them only cause it said to. i would do it just to be on the safe side.

thats only for earlier model stangs . just plug it in & program . I've reprogrammed at least 50 times & never have I done that .
