sound deadening
Anyone use some type of insulation to help reduce the interior noise from their exhaust? I get some drone, but its mostly the vibration and deep tone that cause my entire interior to rattle and vibrate. Its driving me nuts. Im looking on ebay right now at some insulation and sound deadening stuff. I need something cheap and thin that can fit between the panels inside the car. I looked into dynamat but its expensive and heavy. Any suggestions?

there is a product, its called lizard skin, its a thick applied coating that reduces interior noise and temperatures...its a coating so it can be applied with paint brushes and rollers or sprayed on...its not tooo heavy compared to dynamat

+1 on that. I have the pypes violator system and I can have a normal conversation in my car. It's a bit loud on the outside but not much drone inside.

I've got an o/r x and borla cat back. Its not too loud for me. Just loud enough to vibrate and rattle every piece of plastic inside the car; thats what's driving me nuts. Ive got a few car audio shops around where i live, ill probably stop in today and see what they sell.

RE: sound deadening
There is another company that makes sound deadening material exactly like Dynamat, and it is a lot cheaper. Go to www.bquiet.com and take a look at what they have. I put their Ultimate and Extreme in my old '98. I did the entire floorboard in Ultimate and lined the trunk with the extreme. Let me tell you, that suff works awesome. It is definitely worth it.
