yes a stock cobra with pulley and port will still need a 75 shot to hit 600whp to be safe for a DD

if talkin out your @ss is a problem around here then you'd be first on the list, you just posted 2 times just to hear yourself think, its called an edit button...and isnt this like the 5 time you've jacked someones thread to state your opinion on a subject just to get into a fight with someone cause you get suck so far up your own @ss you talk nothing but sh*t?...ive never seen you give info til you got a chance to prove someone wrong...atleast i got out here and gave him the answers to the options he was lookin at...

and as for horspower not comin easy...

that sounds real hard, you just shot yourself in the foot...ive already told him that 600+ on the block is no good...so you cant keep yappin bout that now can you?
The 700 plus made on 105 is promo deal, it makes 500-600 on pump, and thats what tuning is all about durgghhh...you want to keep talkin tuning, that be about all he'd have to rely on to make 600 reliable streetable hp, yeah its a feat to do, but the motors now days are capable of it...check half the turbo kits for 03's

stfu u dumbass idiot - how does puttin on the juice shoot me in the foot - that not full time power fkn doush
not to mention nos was never something he listed he would do - i offered it to let him hit his 600 whp mark while staying somewhat reliable ( not full time) and easy to tune a 75 wet shot... stop trying save face - you got told - now take it like a man and learn before you post next time....

the juice helps you not have to use race gas for those higher numbers you want while not as bad for you motor as the full time boost that is needed to maintain those numbers

and again as you so ignorantly posted - im not debating the fact the cobra motors can make 800-1000 rwho with turbos and 105 - we already had this desicussion - IT SURE AS *** INST EASY - it VERY VERY DANGEROUS to your motor AND IT WONT LAST LONG - those dyno pulls are done for a few secs and then immediatly detuned....

can I get an Amen?

So what is the difference in the forged longblock purchased and the internals on the Cobra?? I am all about the cheapest way to get where I am going. I am not looking to build a drag car, just a really fast street car let's say a Mustang equiv. to a Viper or Vette. The Cobra on Ebay is 31K, it has the usual bolt ons with a 17 lbs boost Whipple on it, I put a link below. I would REALLLLY like to get to that point for alot less than 31K. I don't want to go any older than 99, that gets me out of the body style I want and it doesn't sound like the V6 or wrecked option is the way to go. Decisions - Decisions. I don't care how so much I get to the HP numbers, just want it to be solid and not self-destruct.
Thanks for the help guys.

Ok well now I can help you -

If you want cheap - fast and safe - like you say then do this

a GT - build the tranny - 2-3k - build the motor 2-3k and then a 300 direct port wet shot - 1k
proably the fastest setup you could have for what we are talking about (even the turbo most wont beat it)
but of course a 300 shot is less than safe - but not too bad w/ interals for it
so there you go for 7k for a nos car that will eat jsut about anything - 600+whp 800+torque

or do the same with a novi 2000 - 5k with all the bells and whistles = 500-600whp - same torque

or do the same with a single or twin tubro - 4k - 6k = 500-700 whp - more torque and much wider power band than the s/c car - plus you can turn the boost how you want it when you want it- and turn in all the way down when not gettin on it - with a 4 position chip this is the best way to go if you have the money

the cobra uses different internals than you would buy on your own... the typical forged kit is about 1400 bucks plus install - those parts will hold 800-1000 hp (but over 600 is not safe for any DD- unless your rich)
dont owrry about your stock heads either will go to 600-800 hp once ported and polished just takes boost
